When I make a post about Alberta Independence that goes viral and liberals from outside of Alberta start swarming in.

Ask anyone who supports Alberta independence if they have ever been contacted by one of these polling companies. Most have not. Legacy pollsters love to present 1,000 weighted responses as hard science. It is not. Our poll likely over-samples Albertans who already support independence. But legacy polling methods likely under-sample the very people supportive of independence who are often missed by conventional surveys. So when their polls come in around 30 to 35 percent, and our poll shows much stronger numbers, the real question is obvious: Where is the true level of support actually sitting? Probably not as low as they claim. Probably not as high as an open X poll suggests. But very likely somewhere in between, and much higher than the establishment is comfortable admitting.

Reminder that ceding property rights to indigenous radicals is tantamount to giving land to a foreign aggressor.

@Martyupnorth I grew up in Edmonton and moved to BC 18 years ago to live where I played. My small town has changed so much in that time. I bought this hoodie to show my support for the cause and am making plans to move the family back to Alberta as this referendum happens.

I wish I could have filmed the local FN band leader who stopped by our petition signing location to tell us we were on her land. She was driving a Cadilac Escalade and smoking cheap reserve cigarettes. I asked her to come explain her comment. "I'm too busy. I'm on my way to the dentist". Next time she comes I'll be prepared.
