@bamboosaber This is why you should put the most popular vendors in the back instead, most of them do 30+ cons a year. That said, sales are also going to be lower because people just have less money right now. Gas and airfare costs are insane right now, that money has to come from somewhere

One trend I'm noticing is: the bigger the vendor hall, the more overwhelming for attendees and there's much less money/fewer sales to go around. The vendors in the back end up struggling the most. I really think capping vendor hall sizes is SUPER important.

I'm just one person btw ! I don't have a team, I have someone occasionally cut fur for me because I have chronic pain in my hands, but the sculpting/sewing/everything elseis entirely just: me ! not saying anything about it, I just have seen people refer to HT as a team

@LilySuits Welcome to the world of industrial sewing machines! I’m still in awe over how well my DDL-8700 just flies through all my suit work. In the future, I definitely wanna get walking foot, overlock, and cover stitch industrial machines into my studio.

Okay having been using this all day I can happily say this is the best purchase I have ever made for my job. This machine is so smooth, easy to use and adjust and has gone through multiple layers of faux fur without any issues!! It’s super quiet as well, if you’re able to afford the purchase and want to make suits either full time or as an invested hobby honestly I highly recommend investing in this! Especially the walking foot model. I will say assembly was a bit of a pain, it took around 2 hours, but it’s so worth it!! I’m linking the exact version I got down below!
