@RRB4KU @Heritage Not so. The principal was, for the most part, paid a long time ago by the borrowers. Only students who have been paying back their loans for years qualify for debt forgiveness. It's not costing us a penny. Though tbh, I'd rather we bail out students than give tax breaks to Musk.
