Slavery existed globally long before Islam, and today Muslim scholars overwhelmingly reject it completely. Cousin marriage may be permitted in Islam, but modern medicine now discusses the genetic risks involved, especially across generations. So using “the Quran allowed it” to defend every 7th century practice in today’s world makes no sense ❌
