With pressure from sanctions building for Russia, and Beijing’s own tensions with the West growing, it is going to be increasingly difficult for Chinese businesses to keep walking the sanctions tightrope. Some are limiting their exposure, but others are learning to adjust.

Even state-owned enterprises from China are finding it increasingly difficult to keep flying under the sanctions radar. In 2022, several SOEs curtailed their presence in Russia following the recommendations of the Chinese government. By @Reuters rb.gy/yki9c
