I had a Stroke, my life has been completely changed. My GP practise has been less than supportive. I asked them to sign a form for my Pension. Yesterday they called to tell me it’s no problem but would charge me £250 for a signature and the practise stamp. What do we think?

This is a fascinating watch. Man Utd in serious trouble financially but Sir Jim Ratcliffe has single-handedly saved them. It would have been far easier to do what Celtic did in 1994 and liquidate the club completely, strip all of its assets and start a new club. Fair play 👏

We are living in dark times, where the information laid out below should worry anyone and everyone . A clinical psychologist with a doctorate, and 15 years experience in the NHS Forensic Mental Health has assessed an isolated prisoner, who committed a civil offence against The Court. There was no victim , no violence and no damage. The clinical assessment has deemed that this individual is now at serious risk. The original behest for isolation was to create a safe environment, but not at the expense of his well being which is now deteriorating at a rapid pace. Human rights experts tell us 15 days solitary confinement is the boundary line where solitary confinement is edging towards torture. Reading through The UN's Mandela Rules on treating prisoners with respect, I see very few where this ethos is applied Especially pertaining to solitary confinement, access to exercise, recreation and safe food. As a layman with no real experience of prison life, I naively expected this prisoner to have full uninterrupted access to his visitors and probably regular banter from the guards, who after all know that the solitary confinement is NOT part of his punishment, it's a safeguard because The Prison itself is not safe for this prisoner. 130 days in a cell for 22 hours a day intentionally or otherwise has become part of his punishment. His outburst ,screams of mental anguish ,tears and sobbing crushed with a Feeling of complete hopelessness seems to have brought on further restrictions and discipline. I am saddened, I am appalled , and horrified to see the shameful focus of human rights activists and lawyers who have completely ignored these hideous circumstances , because they disagree with his politics. Any man deserves better than this. His deterioration is off the scale.
