There is wide-spread and divided support/criticism of President Trump...just pick a subject. However, the life-saving COVID vaccine is rolling out today & that is a credit to it happening quickly under his administration. Our daughter is a critical nurse, thanks to the POTUS!

Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving WEEK. With Covid and all the craziness in our country and the world, it makes sense to have a week to think about and celebrate our blessings, rather than just a day. Be well, America!

Just keeping things real. Listening to Des on College Game Day this AM and his comments about keeping the pressure on an opposing team ("foot on the neck"). We all make mistakes; let's be willing to call it out no matter who; allow for apologies; & then move on - better for it!

Well, it's here, Election Day. An American tradition we must safeguard. My 1st presidential vote was cast for JF Kennedy. I have not missed a single opportunity to vote, since. True Americans vote, accept results, & support the winner. Having to board up businesses is insane!

@latsondheimer Yikes. That "debate" was like an argument between two 5th graders. Wait, even 5th graders can carry on a discussion. Debate #2 - turn off the microphone of the person who's turn it is to not talk.

Embarrassment. Give me my ballot. I want this to end.

So many issues: WE could both be right or WE both could be wrong; you could be more right and I could be more wrong; I could be more right and you could be more wrong. Only time will tell. If we could start our discussions with those possibilities...we might get somewhere.

@Coach_BBish @CoachGemmell @janetevans @NCAPswim The history of individual sports, athletes, & coaches who helped move those sports forward fades with each year. The same with the history of our country. It's not the fault of the young ones coming up. We fail to make history a necessary part of their development.

Great points of conversation and I can realistically see needed movement on some issues, but likely not others. However, why weren't the daily/weekly hour limitations addressed? SA's spend way more time in sport related activities than academics.

America start "policing" yourself & those around you. Otherwise we depend on others to do that & looks what happens. The 3 officers who didn't stop the lone officer in MN were bystanders. The peaceful protesters are bystanders for those who aren't. America, Step-up & stand-up!

Remembering my dad WWII and brother Lonnie (Vietnam) on this Memorial Day.

Although we individually remember, everyday, the veterans and their families who have sacrificed more than we can know, this weekend and tomorrow are special days when we, as a nation, can come together to show that appreciation and honor these heroes.

How funny are the Cuomo brothers when Gov Andrew gets interviewed by younger brother Chris on CNN! Not a fan of either of them on their own, but when they are together, it is like the beat SNL skit in years!

How/when to reopen our economy & the risks to do that or not...even "the experts" don't agree. However, our media "experts", who say keep it closed, might have a different perspective if they were unemployed or had lost their business. Tragic for many, my heart goes out to them!

I really liked Kevin Johnson's (Starbucks CEO) description of "new normal" that seems to just get pounded into the ground. He says "NOW normal!" Describes today & leaves lots of room for change & growth. So for me...it's NOW Normal instead of "the new normal. Have a great day. J
