I think there's a misconception here. Trump is not actually blocking the Strait of Hormuz. He only came to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Because he first used destroyer ships to clear mines in the Strait of Hormuz and make it safe for passage. Now, he's allowing all ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, except ships linked to Iran. In a nutshell, Iran is blocking the Strait of Hormuz. And Trump is opening the Strait of Hormuz.

@white_1110 @Its_ereko Don't mind him, posting false information without doing his due diligence, if he has even truly been following, he will find out the blockade is actually a systematically way of opening the Straits which the stock market has reacted positively to

🚨🇨🇳 CHINESE TANKER JUST BROKE THROUGH THE US BLOCKADE A sanctioned Chinese linked oil tanker sailed straight through the Strait of Hormuz. The US Navy said nothing. Did nothing. Stopped nothing. The empire drew a line in the water. China erased it. The blockade is already dead. They just haven't admitted it yet.

@Its_ereko @Katia0945025101 You are not entirely correct, if you were truely following, The US already said tankers that load from Iran, the Chinese vessel Loaded from UAE. The idea was to actually systematically open the Strait so that Ships can pass through without Iran's extortion

That is the reality. The strait is not closed. It is selectively blocked. US allies and non Iranian destinations can still pass. But anyone linked to Iran gets stopped. That is not a blockade. That is discrimination at sea. China passed anyway. Others cannot. So the system is not equal. It is political. The US decides who crosses and who does not. That is not freedom of navigation. That is control. And the world is noticing. The strait is open for some. Blocked for others. That is not law. That is power. And power without law is just bullying.

Routing via Fujairah is a smart, pre-built hedge the UAE has leaned on hard during this Hormuz mess. The Habshan-Fujairah pipeline (ADCOP) already shifts ~1.5-1.8M bpd of Abu Dhabi crude straight to the Gulf of Oman—bypassing the strait entirely. Exports from there have surged 50%+ lately as the main workaround, keeping some oil flowing to global markets. It won't fully replace Hormuz traffic (UAE pumps ~3.4M bpd total), and Iran's drone hits on the port show it's not risk-free. But it's buying time for reroutes, storage, and diplomacy while Dubai's Gulf-side ops scramble. Solid backup plan in action.

Dubai has a massive problem. Iran will not open the Strait of Hormuz to the UAE. And most likely they will not open it for years. Now the UAE is demanding compensation from Iran for the damages. They said they'll keep attacking Iran unless they get paid. Highly unlikely Iran would pay a cent. Yesterday, the UAE bombed an oil refinery on Lavan Island. Now Iran will most likely keep that strait closed to the UAE. UAE's leaders are pressuring the UK and a few countries to fight Iran and take control of the Hormuz. Keir Stramer is in the UAE as we speak. This approach most likely will backfire. The UAE'S entire economy runs on oil flowing through those waters. Airports will not operate without fuel. Hotels could shut down. Tourism has already collaosed. Empty beaches. Empty malls. Empty stadiums. Every single thing could crash.

Iran has agreed to 11 out of the American conditions, and the remaining three are still under negotiation for the next two weeks: 1. A permanent commitment never to develop or possess nuclear weapons. 2. Handing over all its enriched uranium to the International Atomic Energy Agency. 3. Allowing the IAEA full access and monitoring of every part of its nuclear facilities. 4. Completely and permanently stopping uranium enrichment inside Iran. 5. Significantly reducing both the range and the number of its missiles. 6. Immediately cutting off all support to militias and proxy groups in the region. 7. Stopping all attacks on energy facilities in the Gulf. 8. Reopening the Strait of Hormuz immediately, with no conditions or delays. 9. Lifting all sanctions imposed on Iran. 10. Canceling the snapback mechanism for reimposing UN sanctions. 11. American support for the Bushehr nuclear power plant, but only under direct US supervision. !

Dangote is about to list his refinery on the stock exchange and the people that need to hear this the most are not paying attention. Forget everything you think you know about this man for a second and just look at the numbers. $20 billion refinery. Largest single-train refinery on the planet. Not in America. Not in Saudi Arabia. In Lagos. Already pumping 650,000 barrels a day. Diesel. Petrol. Aviation fuel. This thing is not a plan. It’s not a pitch deck. It’s working. Right now. While you’re reading this. And he’s offering 10% to the public. Now here’s where it gets crazy and I need you to read this part slowly. You buy the shares in naira. Regular naira from your regular account. But your dividends come back in dollars. American dollars. In a country where the naira does nothing but fall. Where your 5 million in savings last year is worth 3.5 million in purchasing power this year. Where you’ve been watching the exchange rate destroy your future in real time. Someone just handed you a bridge and most of you will be too busy arguing about politics and celebrity drama to walk across it. $6.4 billion in export revenue backing those dividends. Not projections from a PowerPoint. Real money from real petrochemicals leaving Nigerian ports to the rest of the world and coming back as dollars. Into your pocket. If you own the shares. Economists are saying this one listing alone could take the entire Nigerian stock market from ₦105 trillion to over ₦200 trillion. One. Company. Nearly doubling everything. And they’re not stopping. Expansion to 1.4 million barrels a day already in the works. Double what it is now. Within three years. I don’t care if you have 50k or 50 million. When this IPO opens, you need to be in the room. Not because of hype. Not because Twitter told you. Because the fundamentals are screaming and the opportunity is once in a generation. The last time something this big happened on the NGX most of you were in secondary school. You missed it. This one is happening in your adult life with your own money and your own decision. What you do with this information is on you. But don’t come back in 5 years asking why everybody else is collecting dollar dividends and you’re still checking exchange rates on Google with pain in your chest. You were here. You read it. Now move.
