Hello! We are building a cool database of sports data, starting with NFL data, and posting insights here on X. Digesting sports data is way too difficult today - its all tables of random numbers with vague info. We want cool, data driven visuals. Free analytics site = soon

@AdamSchefter Andy Dalton: 39,793 career pass yards, 254 pass TDs in 178 games. Built on volume. Jalen Hurts: 17,891 pass yards, 110 pass TDs, but 63 rush TDs in just 92 games. Dalton is a career passer. Maybe the Eagles are hoping Dalton can teach Hurts a thing or two.

Monangai costs $947/scrimmage yard based on his 2025 stats and 2026 cap hit Meanwhile, Sean Tucker costs nearly $10k.... There is good GM'ing, and there is bad GM'ing. H/t @spotrac for the data

@NFL @RapSheet @TomPelissero @MikeGarafolo Unsure on the value given the picks, but Waddle's $11.6M cap hit is solid value compared to other receivers: DK Metcalf costs $31M, Tee Higgins $26.5M Broncos get a proven 100-target receiver in Waddle (910 yards, 6 TDs) to pair with Sutton (1017 yards, 7 TDs)

@clarencehilljr Career numbers aside, Dak's 2025 was solid - 4,552 yards, 30 TDs, 67.3% completion rate over 17 games. But at $43.5M cap hit, he's the most expensive QB in the league. The question isn't whether he's good, it's whether he's worth $9M more than Mahomes.

Christian Kirk struggled mightily in 2025: 239 yards on 52 targets with just a 53.8% catch rate and 4.6 yards per target (lowest of career). For comparison, receivers like JSN (11.0 YPT) and Puka Nacua (10.3 YPT) produced at elite levels. Texans problem, or a Kirk problem?
Jordan Schultz@Schultz_Report

Sources: The #49ers are signing WR Christian Kirk to a 1-year, $6M deal. Kirk is the latest WR addition in San Fran, after they also signed WR Mike Evans.

@NFL @NFLLegacy Truly very impressive. In 2006, Drew Brees led the NFL with 4424 passing yards in his first season with New Orleans, edging out Peyton Manning who had 4397 yards.
