I agree. I think we never established a solid line the whole season. It’s like 50 first dates. That said, we made the playoffs without an established line all season. Perry, James and Geekie might be a great line, but they’ve never played together before tonight. Hagel, Kuch and Raddy played amazing, when Jake was on he was on. Point is still fast, but again, our lines lack mojo that comes with experience of playing together. Jake screwed up - he knows it, he will fix it before Tuesday I’m sure. Everyone has off days, today was his day. He is an amazing hockey player. The boys need to believe they are a championship team. That has to come from within them. Fans believe. We were on the edge of our seats all night.

The annoying thing is, the Lightning absolutely outplayed Montreal tonight. But taking three dumb penalties, and not being able to kill them, was brutal. Can’t be undisciplined against a dangerous offensive team.
