@JohnStossel @NielsHoven My almost 4 year old grandson is already learning to read 4 and 5 letter words. His favorite thing to do is have books read to him and he is regularly encouraged to decode words in the stories. He's going to be homeschooled so he doesn't lose his curiosity & his ability to learn.

Teaching reading "became this holy war!" says reading app designer @NielsHoven. One reason is that George W. Bush pushed phonics. Teachers said "if George Bush is telling us what to do, we aren't going to do it." Seriously.

Funny how nobody ever mentions that he had his hands in the HIV epidemic of the 80s too. The evil scientist in the movie "Dallas Buyers Club" is Fauci. He didn't get a pardon for that, did he? It's the same playbook, bat soup now, banging monkeys then. Good thing pattern recognition isn't a snake. ☹️

We now know Dr. Fauci had deep ties to the intelligence community that predate the COVID pandemic. Think about what that means. When the question of whether this virus came from a lab first arose, one man was positioned to shape the answer across science, intelligence, and public opinion. He steered the narrative away from the lab leak theory because he knew the NIH was funding gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Criticized mandates/coercion, highlighted risks like myocarditis in youth, and introduced the End the Vaccine Carveout Act to remove Big Pharma liability immunity for injuries. Led broader probes into COVID waste, royalties, and agency reforms to rebuild public trust. Six years later, the fight for truth and prevention goes on.

Your example: "The Preston's"... is it intending plurality of the location of multiple Prestons, or possessive, and, therefore, only belonging to one Preston? Drives me crazy. 🤪

@chicksonright As a retired 5th grade teacher this mistake drives me crazy. It’s especially prevalent when addressing Christmas cards because people want to make a family name plural (The Prestons) but use an apostrophe (The Preston’s) to accomplish this. Geez!!

I am begging the entire X population to please stop putting needless apostrophes into people's names. It is NOT Candace Owen's. EVER. Not in a single instance ever does an apostrophe go there. If you're describing something that belongs to her, it's Candace Owens'. But never, and I mean NEVER, is it Candace Owen's. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

@AndriaDont99498 Yeah, the drug deaths on top of the 40% increase in mortality due to the covid shot and we are all dreading those phone calls these days. Me thinks it's going to get a lot worse before it tapers off. Let's keep holding each other through these crazy times!
