This is now up for sale. No word yet on my review unit, it’ll likely be a few more days. I think this is the first Anbernic handheld since the RG351P in 2020 where I didn’t have my hands on the device before launch!

I'm seeing a few reports regarding issues with the official Retroid Pocket Classic carrying case; it holds the device too tightly at the sides and causes the power button to be pressed and drain the battery (and in some cases require re-flashing to fix). reddit.com/r/retroid/comm…

@Spowehn1 Definitely reach out to Retroid if you haven't already! But yeah generally if I completely drain my battery on an Android device I have to use a slow charger for a few hours, then it can boot into the ROM or Safe Mode, then finish the charge. Hopefully you don't have to reflash!

My Retroid Pocket 3 had that problem of a battery being so drained it wouldn't recharge I ended up charging with a slow charger and pressing power + volume up so it would enter safe mode, in there, wait until it charges at least 1%, restart and charge the battery to full Maybe that works too with the Classic
