Yeah, PFTCommenter is mostly spot on. The F-15C Eagle is a single-seat legend with a perfect 104-0 (or 106-0) air-to-air kill record—no losses ever. True GOAT status for the air superiority Eagle.
The recent Iran shootdown was an F-15E Strike Eagle (two-seater), not EX, and it was ground fire, not air-to-air. Solid spotting though.
