@ivyvotesbangtan So even though I have access to Korean NOL, I only use it if I’m currently blocked on global for clicking too fast. The queue numbers are usually 5-10k worse for me on Korean NOL compared to global, and for most shows I’m too broke to buy a random ticket w/o knowing the location

@ivyvotesbangtan on global I’ve gone back to selection for shows where I thought “I’m only gonna commit to standing if I’m <800 queue numbers, otherwise I’d rather not go”, but on Korean NOL I can’t see the queue number until i paid and would have to cancel and re-queue to try again

Do Korean army really not know how bad the global site is? They DO book before us because we don't get access as quickly. Usually the people I know on Korean nol have already booked and are halfway thru the queue for another date before I even get in to see the first seat map.

@SpringFeelsLike I think global nol behaves very different in Korea vs from what I'm hearing in terms of queue numbers so perhaps that is what is happening because I have extremely fast internet & am pretty decent at ticketing but I don't know anyone who can get good queue numbers from elsewhere.

@ivyvotesbangtan Also Korean NOL has this issue that drives me nuts; if you select a ticket and go to checkout, it only shows the ticket category, whereas global shows the exact queue number or seat location (Korean only shows that after payment). You can’t really make an informed decision

@ivyvotesbangtan The downside of global is that you only have a set timeframe to book and if you click too fast the system is quicker to block you, so nowadays I only pull out my Korean account if I failed to get tickets on global, bcs the best tickets I’ve booked were all on global

@susamong30429 @chickyxime if you were in a serious relationship for years and broke up on good terms it’s natural not wanting to erase part of your life. I have no feelings for my ex, but he’s in almost every picture of me or my family for 5+ years, I won’t delete that. It happened and it’s a part of me.

@chickyxime If u broke up with someone and still keep stuff about them especialy if u have a partner, it shows u never moved on. Also u don't have to always help ur ex, let ur partner do it for u or get someone else. Everyone can help themselves unless they physically or mentally cant.

@pinkseobin @jwneyp @peterbinseung What I find important is put stickers or distortion on recordings, in case the baby may feel uncomfortable about it in the future when they’re older. I’ve see a lot of fully naked baby pics of my friends and I and it can be a bit embarrassing knowing those are out there forever

@pinkseobin @jwneyp @peterbinseung I’m German and I’m so used to toddlers running around naked, or even adults being naked at beaches with children around, that as long as there’s stickers put on the broadcast for privacy, I don’t really find it unusual or weird. Nudity isn’t sexual unless the setting is sexual.

I’m sorry but yeonjun is fluent in English. Please stop defending him. even if he had no ill intentions himself he should have been careful about addressing a baby as a grown man.

@PhDinScience @MoonlovingOt7 Funnily not always. AAA battery devices can usually be carried in checked luggage, only lithium is an issue with most airlines. I’ve had a few discussions with airline employees about that though, but their superiors have always said AAA is fine for checked and waved it through

This entire issue is reminding me of Emma Watson being made fun of for asking other students at Brown University for a rubber, as in eraser, and her American classmates thinking she asked for a condom. Linguistic differences exist.

@homechive I’m sure this tweet from 2021 isn’t referring to something that happened three weeks ago, but rather enforces the fact that this word is simply used different in Korea than in the west and has been for a long time

@CookiesEatMe01 @homechive I’m using my understanding of the Korean language context. If an American said that I would understand it differently, but from a korean perspective it’s the same as calling a dog a handsome boi - just a term of endearment and not meant as literally being attracted to the dog

@odaivarohc @homechive Korean has a bunch of English terms that are simply used different here, and within the context of this language it makes perfect sense. Everyone here will understand it that way, because that’s the normal meaning here x.com/SpringFeelsLik…
SpringFeelsLike⁷ 🌸 ticket fairy✨@SpringFeelsLike

@xojujubear @mpishi54 @homechive TMI for example in English means too much info in the sense of “I didn’t want to hear that” - often referring to something gross. Meanwhile here in Korea TMI means boring info that’s useless to the hearer, like “I wanted cereal for breakfast, but I ended up eating toast”.

@odaivarohc @homechive See this. The same words are used differently in different languages x.com/SpringFeelsLik…
SpringFeelsLike⁷ 🌸 ticket fairy✨@SpringFeelsLike

@xojujubear @mpishi54 @homechive In Germany a mobile phone is called a “handy”. It’s an English word, but it doesn’t have the meaning of the English word anymore when used in German context. It means mobile phone. It’s a pseudo-anglicism, an English word adopted into another language with a modified meaning
