What a fabulous day some of our Springside pupils had at the ASN multisport festival. As well as being able to try a range of activities they had lots of fun and made lots of friends. Thai you to #naactiveschools for organising a great event

This term our pupils are developing their skills in using laptops and ipads to explore, create and build their digital confidence

📖 Some P1/2 Pupils enjoyed sharing their favourite books during Show & Tell. They spoke confidently about why their book is special and listened carefully to their friends. A lovely way to celebrate reading! 📚✨ More to follow in next few weeks . . .

Our fabulous Eco Comittee had a fabulous sustainable shop where we recycled books and toys from home. Everyone who donated swapped their item for a new one. #WorldBookDay2026

World Book Day 2026 was a huge hit at Springside Primary! We were all very cosy in our jammies yesterday ready to enjoy a day filled with books 📚

A big well done to our 7 superstars from p1/2 who participated in the p1/2 football festival at the circuit. The children did well and showed what an amazing team they were despite being 1 person down - well done team SPS x

Our Early Years class had a very interesting morning learning how to safely use our fire pit! We listened well to instructions on how to keep ourselves safe, and then enjoyed some sizzling sausages that were cooked on our fire! What a wonderful experience 🔥 ✨ #outdoorlearning

So proud of our amazing SPRING IT dancers! 💃 From the first creative spark to the final stage implementation, the girls teamwork and hard work were 10/10. Hard to believe 3 weeks of lunchtime clubs has produced this!! They were incredible and we couldn’t be prouder! ✨

A huge thank you to Abbie from our local food bank for arranging a top-up of supplies for our school food bank. We are so grateful! Supporting our families and working with our wider community is something we truly value - partnerships like this make such a positive difference!
