@GaysForTrump I don’t support fetishistic cross-dressing in public, especially by ugly old men, but if there’s ever an appropriate time to wear weird stuff it’s the Met Gala. It’s a purposeful freak show. Fashionistas go “ooh”, we go “omg, look at that”.

I thought a male finally looked masculine at the Met Gala but then Connor Storie took off the jacket to reveal his blouse.

Vincent Price Trivia. When his daughter Victoria came out as a lesbian, Vincent Price was immediately supportive. He became an honorary board member of PFLAG (Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) and was a vocal ally for LGBTQ+ causes. Later in life, he openly shared with her that he was bisexual.

@TheMekon_Venus I was such a big V fan that I hand drew and coloured a poster of this emblem for my bedroom wall. It was so striking that it was noticeable from the street outside. I was around 13 years old. These days I’d get referred to Prevent!

@ThatMoviePage Crazy that in those days many of us saw it once at the cinema then wouldn’t see it again for at least 5 years, on video rental or on TV. That’s why action figures were so sought after because it allowed us to recreate the memory (very inaccurately, unless you had a Falcon).

One of the dumbest "criticisms" of the sequels is saying that Rey stole the Skywalker name or adopted it on her own accord. LUKE AND LEIA MANIFESTED THEMSELVES IN THE PHYSICAL WORLD AT THE MOMENT SOMEONE ASKED REY HER FAMILY NAME! THEY GAVE HER PERMISSION AND THEIR BLESSING!!!! In the novel, its even hammered home MORE by Luke saying "it's yours, Rey."

@bloodoftheland One of the reasons I didn’t see Rise of Skywalker was the obvious and disingenuous use of the Skywalker name in the title. Kathleen Kennedy loved The Last Jedi, which killed off Luke without even one last adventure. But then uses his name in another film he’s not even alive for.

This does nothing to address the criticism of the scene which is that it's profoundly gross that they killed off the Skywalker family with no plan but still wanted to call it "The Skywalker Saga" for marketing so they just called Palpatine's granddaughter a Skywalker instead
