Is Stuttering Craig Skistimas a bigot?
This is a long ass thread to help you answer that for yourself. I'm gonna cover the past 2 years but theres alot more to it🧵🧵🧵
Dont know who he is? Forgot he existed? Heres some background info....
Stuttering Craig started "Screwattack" with his then friend Handsome Tom before registering the company solo leaving Tom as just an employee. Tom left the company along with a few employees within a couple years after that. SA had a podcast called "Sidescrollers" and some other popular shows like "Hard News" "Top 10s" and "Video Game Vaults"
Years later Death Battle was created with minimal involvement from Craig. DB quickly eclipsed anything else going on with the channel but the company was still struggling financially. Craig sold his company to "Fullscreen" which also bought Rooster Teeth the same year. Fullscreen had RT absorb SA which meant moving most of the SA employees from DFW to Austin..... with a few exceptions.
RT let the remaining people who werent associated with DB create a new brand called "Game Attack" as a spinoff to ScrewAttack. It was Craig and 1 partner and 3 other guys (all nice dudes but they prob dont wanna get tagged in this shitshow). It was under the Lets Play family and they did gameplay vods then streams but never blewup to the size of Funhaus or AH so eventually RT was ready to drop the weight
Instead of firing them they let Craig and his partner go independent aka keep the brand and video equipment but not get salaries or featuring anymore. It was a generous deal considering Craig had spent 2 years being an entitled prick behind the scenes. They streamed on their own for a couple years. Craig burned even more bridges with RT
Then in 2020 the wheels really fell off th cart after the murder of George Floyd. They had a "town hall" stream with their community to discuss the major social event. Everyone opened up.... except Craig who didnt wanna be there. His response was "I dont see color. Treat everyone equal" kindergarten bullshit which completely ignored the reality of the situation that people WERENT being treated equally
Community members took issue with him checking out. They offered him insight and reading material. He in turn told them rudely to go educate themselves. Over the next few weeks he was in fewer streams while using his "parody" account @xxEvilCraigxx to vent his frustration at specific WOKE community members that dared pushback against his apathy
Shit was getting outta hand so Craig and his partner brought the targeted community members into a Discord group chat to hash things out. It did not go well lol. Craig wouldnt work with anyone to get call rolling so they tried talking through text until Craig sent a pissbaby screed and ragequit the group. Then short after that they announced Craig was leaving the company
Craig got bought out by his GA partner
Craig said he was retiring from gaming
Craig started streaming games again
He had privately contacted some of his former moderators, big tippers and other fans telling them about how unfairly he was treated. It was bullshit but it split the community between his loyalists, his "bullies" and the oblivious. He did some interviews with his old contacts from SA/RT but his streams became focused on railing against CANCEL CULTURE every day.
He started a podcast "Weekdays with Craig and Brad" with his brother Brad Skistimas aka FiveTimesAugust. Together they fell deep into conservative rabbit holes and emerged fully anti-vax, anti-BLM, anti-woke morons. Brad made it big with a viral song called Sad Little Man (targeted at Dr. Anthony Fauci) and then soon after that they stopped the podcast
During the 2020 election Craig encouraged people not to vote. He got pushback from some former SA employees who rightfully called it irresponsible. But he deleted his Twitter account abit after that so its lost to time
Craig tried crowdfunding a new idea called "Collaborator Club" which was a creator networking site but he abandoned it and announced he was retiring from video games. Secretly he had got a job offer from "Prairie Fire" a shady ass gun company that thought Craig could build them a social media platform for gun owners. Craig didnt make a social media platform.
He offered jobs to many of his former employees. None of them accepted. Exactly a year into his employment after producing nothing he "quit" and un-retired from video game streaming
After a few months of game streams he announced he was reviving his old Screwattack podcast "Sidescrollers" but this time it was called "Side Scrollers" because RT still owned Screwattack and all of its sub brands. He once again reached out to everyone he knew to be hosts on the podcast. He got exactly ONE former employee to host.... for half of the first episode. Nobody else has touched it

And thats where we are now. Watching him jump at every culture war headline and clout chase to stay relevant. The podcast immediately became political and has a very obvious rightwing slant that reaches everything from anti-vax, to supporting Jan 6 insurrection, attacking labor unions, and all of the prejudiced takes listed above
I'm a parody account. I began this in Nov 2022 when he came back on Twitter and started getting political again during midterm elections. Almost every day since then I've satirized something stupid Craig did recently
I'm not selling anything. I'm not affiliated with anyone. I just dont like the asshole or what he represents. Whether you like my humor or not.... in effect my shitposts have created an archive of his controversial behavior
