Just finished the SDR++ Network Source. With it you can trivially import baseband live from any software that can output IQ to network. For this demo, I use #GNUradio to generate a FM signal and send it over TCP to SDR++. It is now available in the latest nightly. #sdr #sdrpp

@F5OEOEvariste That's awesome. I hate how the mighty transceiver is limited by the interface bandwidth. That's the worst thing about Pluto (well, and harmonics, but that could be a benefit).

@Sq3Swf Yes CS8 = Complex Signed 8 bit. This conversion is done on fpga in order to achieve high bitrate which is not possible with arm implementation.

Progress with new firmware (not datv). Get samplerate of 11M/s through usb using CS8 mode without drop. At same time, free web spectrum thanks to maia-sdr. Investigate with DC offset. Lot of #plutosdr features to come. Stay tuned.

@ryzerth @LeoBodnar Right. "B" in LNB convinced me to believe it was indeed a cheap and readily available "block" ;-)

More gear acquired for the satellite ground station project. This @LeoBodnar LBE-1421 should serve as a perfect reference clock for both the SDR and the X band LNB. It will be backed up by a Rubidium reference through a jitter cleaner to get even better phase noise specs.

@wgoodf Not me, but I believe it was about 50-60 W with 100% duty, aka "ft8".

ATU-100 released the magic smoke. Nice conductive (carbonized) layer on top of good ol' FR4. #hamradio

@ibelings The bad thing is, it does not scale as easily as it is to add more antennas

The satcom amplifier is doing 250W at 432 MHz with modified LPF. Next step to see if 2x2 phased array can handle the power. #EME

Found my old portable yagi for VHF. Life is just so much easier when you have a 3d printer.
