With Seyi Makinde on the ballot, Yoruba Christians across the North-Central and Southwest will finally have an alternative to Bola Tinubu's same-faith ticket.
Both Bola Tinubu and Peter Obi will be negatively impacted by Seyi Makinde's candidacy in 2027. 🤣

The only reason Peter Obi got 6M votes 2023 was because he was adopted as the Christian candidate as he was following churches telling them is a religious war.
2027 no church will enter this misadventure, I doubt he can get 50% of his 2027 votes, and Kwankwaso cannot do much.

They were not part of the parties that passed first approval stage of INEC, ironically INEC did not even appeal this judgement.

I know some people will not be happy hearing this obvious fact, but the reality remains that there is no meaningful NDC presence in the North. Even with all the social media predictions and online noise, nobody can confidently point to a single Northern state and claim that the NDC has the upper hand there. The same situation applies in the South West as well.
