@Toadsanime I just figure it was horrifically under-diagnosed before. Problem children, fidgeters, distracted, low-performers yet they were smart etc etc. All potentially ADHD under an undiagnosed guise.

As someone going through an ADHD diagnosis currently, one of the main things holding me back was the embarrassment of how much of "thing" it is currently, and being thought of as overreacting or lying.
In actuality, there must be a reason it's more diagnosed now.

32 experts from across the UK have published a detailed scientific paper this morning concluding there is “no evidence that ADHD is over-diagnosed in the UK”. No doubt all the Westminster career politicians who insisted recently that it is (without providing any evidence whatsoever) will now be issuing apologies….

PIP cost £21.8 billion in 24/25. Reform want to cut £9bn a year. That equates to 40% of claimants supposedly 'gaming the system'. They also want disabled people driving very unsafe three-wheeler cars. What I find incredible is people take them seriously.
