@SamitoFPS im talking about in a flat 1v1, A dps lost to a tank. (importance of this is laning/matching angles)
A tank could stuff a DPS angle just as hard in 6v6 as 5v5, its just 5v5 means only having 1 tank to stuff 1 dps.
@SquarebreadOW You are wrong when you say a dps could not kill a tank
I’m sure there’s some specific meta stuff that you’re right about but if you believe dps could not kill tanks on angles or if they walk into your team your memory of 6v6 isn’t correct
I think when 5v5 first came out the ideas and design goals were all solid ideas with good intentions
You cannot convince me that tanks running around doing this to lobbies (check his health bar there is no way anyone can kill him) fits into those goals and plays well
@SamitoFPS Not wrong just a difference of opinion. DPS *can* kill tanks in both 5v5 and 6v6 (Vendetta and Emre were basically meta for this exact reason for 5v5) but in 6v6 its inconsistent and requires a mistake. Cass is one of few that have close to even and still needs 5 headshots to win
@SquarebreadOW Sorry brother you are unfortunately objectively wrong here
DPS absolutely can kill tanks and this has been proven in game time and time again
You have a good one
@SamitoFPS dps have never been able to match up to tanks in any even situation. Even in 6v6, dps cant win single plays onto tanks without having an big advantage or the tank make a mistake.
1 dps would always lose to 1 tank, now its just 1 less tank to win that duel.
@SquarebreadOW What solo play can a dps make on a tank there other than survive as you said and if they can only run away or get help how do they have more played agency now than before
@SamitoFPS Put this in any balanced ranked game and people will actually use cd's. If you survive orisa's 1st turn you can just win the game especially when the orisa pops gold on an agro turn without any speed or reason really. not to mention the rein can actually turn and help with orisa
@SquarebreadOW I used this clip as a reference to something that is true across all ranks on all match ups in 5v5 - if he’s smurfing I’ll give you that didn’t see that at the start but that doesn’t make what I’m saying wrong
Put this in any rank and the result is the same, massive flaw
@SquarebreadOW Name one skill any of them could have used there to have a chance at making a play on the orisa
That’s the point, it doesn’t matter what they do they will never be able to make a play there that was obtainable even on LAUNCH 5v5
How do they have more player agency?
@SamitoFPS Theres plenty of things individuals can do here to survive the orisa and make her waste her time. Emre simply moving in more than 1 direction will double his survival time, and using his pistol will actually let him duel the orisa.
@SquarebreadOW Answer my question don’t dodge it
What realistic match up do players have in that situation and how do they have more played agency against giga tanks compared to even launch 5v5
@SamitoFPS Its a team based game, the same should be happening to the counter part. The enemy team has a reinhardt that is walking. Obviously the orisa's team actually walked away from the rein and didnt die and helped eachother compared to this where its all solo's not helping
@Bullskunk@PlayOverwatch I dislike when the order completely changes based off 1 ban, makes swapping fast difficult without taking in pre-round consideration sometimes flanker ends up in top left and its so weird.
Hey @PlayOverwatch, Another suggestion for your consideration. Can we please have the option to put the heroes back in Alphabetical order? I have spent years with them in the previous order and this really screws me, especially trying to make quick swaps in game
genuinely how did i one shot the lucio. i popped it to cleanse beat and it only does 100 flat damage to the white health so how did he die. code for people who wanna check it B5XXR5

@IliadEsports Artemis 3-2 @AmplifyEXE IN AN ALL TIME CLASSIC SERIES
This game may not have major implications, but what a series nonetheless. Artemis avoid the reverse sweep on Map 5 to snag a win that keeps their (slim) playoff dreams alive and knocks Amplify's seeding down.
Player of the Match @MaverickJagger_ just check the scoreboards for yourself this guy was a genuine PROBLEM all series long, but it was @SquarebreadOW who showed out with a 5K on the final flashpoint to cement Artemis's victory. What a series and hopefully a preview of the quality that playoffs will be!
