I don't know who needs to see this: If the MVP card is successful, that's actually GREAT for the sport. Not only that, the UFC is still ALSO going to be successful. And maybe, just maybe, the success of a second promotion might actually make the top promotion better. Will tonight's card be of the highest levels of MMA? Of course not, the UFC's card tonight won't give you that either (although the main event is awesome), but it's OK to have a little fun. I don't think MVP's week of promotion has been great from a let's bring the heat perspective. Thursday's press conference was so, so, so bad. But, they've nailed the who, what, when, where, why, and how. People know where to find it and how to watch it. They're trying. Keep expectations in a good place and you'll probably have a good time tonight. I actually don't understand wanting it to fail.
