BDA has planted over 15 lakh saplings across 240 acres using the Miyawaki method, a proven technique for creating dense forests at a faster pace. Each planting site is allocated to an NGO who have volunteered to do the maintenance of the plants for next three years. MoU signed with them. There will be a monitoring committee who will monitor the maintenance. Ad these ngos get CSR funding therefore even the corporates who funded will monitor them.

The place that once nurtured the mind of such a remarkable literary figure stands neglected ,with no information board and left exposed to the elements. Even the writing table he once used is literally rotting away. This home is not just a building; it is a part of Karnataka’s literary heritage. It deserves dignity, protection, and proper recognition for future generations.
