Today our S3 Design and Manufacture class visited @BAESystemsplc Ship Building Academy. They tackled two hands on challenges. The first was a fabrication task involving nuts and bolts being fitted to a specification. The second was a pipefitting challenge. Great fun @StStephensHS

We hope our P7 pupils enjoyed their day here at @StStephensHS. We were lucky to joined by two Engineers. Angela an Aeronautical Engineer and Stephen from @PeakScientific who have us an insight into their careers. Pupils impressed us all with their new innovative ideas

National STEM day celebrations at @StStephensHS . Our STEM Captains created a Presentation for registration classes this morning and organised some STEM challenges at lunchtime. These were supported by our @YoungSTEMLeader group and were very well attended by S1 pupils

S1 were lucky enough to take part in a STEM experience provided by EKO STEM. They were experiment and leaned about simple machines. What creative bunch they are. Follow the thread for some photos

This was such a lovely evening for Everyone to come together to remember our friend, colleague a lmd Teacher, Mr Paul Murray

Last night Mr Murray's family were invited to join our school community for a memorial mass. This provided an opportunity for friends, colleagues and pupils of Paul to come together and remember him. Fr Jonathan also blessed a memorial bench build by Mr Macqueen and Mr Stewart

Our S3 Design and Manufacture class had a very enjoyable and insightful visit to @DalesMarine Greenock. We had a great tour of the Yard, led by Charles and our former Head Boy Lucas, who is thriving in his new role. Pupils could see the skills that they are learning in action
