Select Fastpitch is excited to announce the addition of Mike McManus as a head coach to the SF organization. Mike will be coaching an 18U team in the St. Louis area that will be committed to playing a mix of top tournaments both on a national and a regional level. "I am very appreciative of the opportunity I have been given to work with the Select Fastpitch organization," McManus said. "The opportunity to work with young women and their families in the recruiting process - and knowing Select's outstanding track record to that end - is what made this the perfect fit for what we are trying to accomplish." McManus has served for the last three years as a head coach within the Illinois Esprit organization and has seen his teams improve each year while also helping to place a total of 15 players over the last two years at varying levels of college softball. Started my summer workouts this week! Worked a lot of drop ball at my pitching lesson and got some cuts in as well. Lifting, conditioning, and more pitching/hitting is on my calendar. Excited to meet my summer squad at @StLouisSoftball in a few weeks! @ejonesrockchalk
