Our wonderful Guild Secretary, Sarah, recently stood down from her role after many years of dedication and hard work- all delivered with a smile. We’ll miss her very much!

Hello October! People lucky enough to be born this month have the delicate, cheery Cosmos and the fiery, vibrant Marigold as their birth flowers. Cosmos flowers symbolise order and balance while Marigolds represent joy, energy and excitement 💐

At a lunchtime concert @greyfriars_kirk by the talented pupils of @Fettes_College Then had lunch @edinburghcastle, followed by a visit to the Scottish National War Memorial and St Margaret’s Chapel @StMargaretsCG, so saw lots of #StainedGlass by #DouglasStrachan

The dust has settled on what was a very happy celebration of St Margaret’s Day and AGM for the Guild. We were delighted to be joined by our Hon Vice Presidents including @AlastairBruce_ who has been a great friend and supporter to the Guild.

On St Margaret’s Day we gather @StMargaretsCG, who put fresh cut flowers in Scottish Queen’s Chapel at @edinburghcastle each week. They are all called ‘Margaret’ #StMargaretsDay
