@Lorenzo92SS I think it's just poor/inexact writing, probably in a desire to sound edgy.

@StMichael71 In theory the Lefebrians have always opposed Feeneyism. When did they start leaning toward Feeneyite positions?

Some are all gungho about people not having enough kids.
I don't know about that.
I'm all for celibacy; the world needs more celibates.
Be a joyful, fulfilled celibate!

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Salford has opened the cause of canonization of Pedro Ballester Arenas, a 21-year-old who died on January 13, 2018, after battling aggressive pelvic cancer for three years. A numerary member of Opus Dei, Pedro embraced a life of celibacy and sought to bring everyone he encountered closer to Christ during his brief but deeply impactful life. Info: BBC

@StMichael71 The claim is heresy is taught, preached; yet no one is referred to as a heretic. Logically, it’s a difficult position to maintain.
English

@MichaelMcH76753 Is the position of the SSPX's Declaration that the Pope is formally a heretic?
English

@StMichael71 And what did St Robert have to say about a pope who falls into formal heresy?
English

@OutlanderMarch "....the MORE you should hold the SSPX BLAMEWORTHY for pursuing schism on spurious, fatuous grounds."
If their Declaration were entirely without fault, and consistent with current Church teaching, then the sin against charity, schism, would be that much more obvious.
English

@StMichael71 No, the sin of schism has to do with charity not doctrine. Read St. Augustine against the Donatists.
English

@MichaelMcH76753 Thomas Aquinas, the Fathers of Trent, Bellarmine are all clearly of the mind that the Church hierarchical - that is, the Pope and the bishops in communion with him - is the proper judge of what counts as orthodox, rather than you.
English

@StMichael71 So Wojtoyla knows better than Aquinas? The Trent Fathers? Bellarmine? The Koran kisser? The Assisi abomination organizer? The man claimed the old covenant was still in force? That guy?
English

@MichaelMcH76753 The Roman Catholic Church, which endorsed and promulgated that Catechism, is a better judge of what constitutes orthodoxy than you are.
