It has been announced that Fr Simon Baker, currently assistant priest @SaintAustins Stafford, is to be the next parish priest of St Thomas More & St Joseph the Worker. Pray for him as he prepares to arrive later in the summer.

30 years ago, the 5th July 1992 was a Sunday and at the 12 noon parish Mass in St Dunstan’s Kings Heath, Birmingham, I was ordained a priest for the archdiocese of Birmingham, by Archbishop Maurice Couve de Murville. #grateful for all the love, support and prayers! #priesthood

KS1 had a wonderful visit from Debbie today. She spoke to us about her role in the parish as a member of the choir. The children asked some excellent questions and were inspired by Debbie's vocation and passion for singing at our church. @TheHolyCrossMAC @BhamDES

I’m en route to an overnight meeting of the Bishops of England and Wales in which we are receiving and discussing the National Synthesis document to be submitted to the Synod Office in Rome. Let’s pray the Holy Spirit will heal, unite, guide and energise the Church in our land.
