Other names floated include 𝐉𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐏𝐢𝐫𝐫𝐨 — a former U.S. attorney and accomplished judge — and 𝐋𝐞𝐞 𝐙𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧, who Turley says could “𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘥𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘏𝘪𝘭𝘭.” But make no mistake about what Trump is doing here. Zeldin is the diplomat. Pirro is the proven loyalist with a prosecutor’s instincts. But the common denominator is that every option on the table is 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐠𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 than Bondi, not less.
