@ManaByte Sad. From the greatest developer to almost nothing now. When you constantly abandon the IPs you build this is what happens. Hubris was thier downfall. A lot of my greatest gaming memories revolve around Halo and Destiny. Marathon isn’t it… and they will just abandon it too.

@PaulTassi I don’t see Marathon lasting a year. It continues to dwindle and I don’t see anyway for them to revive it. Not update is magically going to bring players back, and your longtime Bungie fanbase isn’t happy Destiny died for Marathon to live.

While this is certainly not going to be pretty, even with those losses Sony still values Bungie at like $2.9 billion. The studio won't dissolve, Marathon will get a year, etc. I am very concerned about potential layoffs, as even when Final Shape was a big hit, those happened

@Castellani2014 Seems like a dumb idea to rush him back. Sure the Tigers want him back, and I’m sure Boras wants him back to show he is healthy for the free agency campaign. Not sure any of it is worth the risk of damaging your career if you end up having another surgery.

@Charles36138349 The show will have more legs long term if you don’t make it a parody of the current political climate. Someone watching it 20 years from now won’t understand the references. Anthony deserves an award for his performance and making the character his own.

I think my respect for Starr has just shot up into the stratosphere.
Dude was genuinley trying to put work into making his character unique/intimidating and Kripke at every point was like, "but how can we tie this back to TRUMP????"
And Anthony was the one to pull him back.

Travis Bazzana has now done this exact check-swing bloop single twice against left-handed breaking balls. Both hits on two strikes.
Some will call this lucky (and there’s a degree of luck) but there will always be value in finding a way to put a tough pitch in play.
A lot of hitters strike out here.
