St Vincent House

The past three sports days have brought glory to St Vincent House. With many strong events both team and individual we all helped bring the trophy back, especially those who showed good house spirit to compete on short notice. Thanks to all house staff for making the day happen.

Tonight the year 12s demonstrated their culinary prowess in the kitchen by cooking #steakandchips with a peppercorn sauce. Valuable lessons were learned in time management and planning however the meal turned out great. Well done year12. Thank you matron for facilitating tonight.

A relaxing end to a first week back, the boys had chicken burgers tonight. Mixed with a table tennis tournament and (somewhat competitive) pool being played, a good evening was had by all. Thanks to the boys who helped tonight. #partofRHS

This morning the yr 11s celebrated the end of their mocks in traditional StV form. Sausage, bacon, eggs and waffles all featured on the menu. Thank you matron for putting on such a great breakfast. And well done to the yr 11s for a great effort these last few weeks #partofRHS

Last night was the Christmas party celebrated in classic StV style with a monsterous array of Dominoes, cheesecake and some karaoke. Thank you to all the house staff and the year twelves for setting up and running the night. Thank you @RHSDepHead for being our guest. #xmasparty

This evening was the staff vs @RHS_Nelson house charity football match for @MovemberUK . Well done to Ed, Jesse and Ned who represented Nelson house, and also to Mr Clare and Mr Roe who helped secure a staff victory with one goal and two assists between them. #TeamRHS

The boys are pleased with a second place finish in the inter-house rugby sevens competition. Thank you @RHSSport for running the tournament and congratulations @house_drake on the well deserved win. #PartofRHS
