Are you following all the resources we're posting over on Patr*on? So far this school year: 1. 2025/2026 Book lists, including Kindergarten, Form 1, Form 2, Form 3, Form 4, AND our Scholar's Program. This gives you a scope and sequence for K-12, plus additional readings for any 7th-12th student you want to get college-ready. 2. Day-by-Day, hour-by-hour, lesson-by-lesson schedules for each week in our first term together. This means each class is mapped out for the first 12 weeks so you know what pages/chapter you need to read and when.

Next step is getting v1 finalized for our 2026/2027 book list! This will be my major project in Q1 of 2026.

Also, if you're not already tracking: I'm still posting our English, Greek, and Latin memory work every ~3 weeks along with a pronunciation video so you can practice at home. I also have our day-by-day schedules out for T2. You can find all these on Patr*on.

Don't worry. I'm still alive! All is well. Life has just been busy as we're growing our church, school, real estate business, and family here in Ogden. I'm hoping to do a catch-up video for you soon. Until then:

@HaregedW Great! Do you just mean Composition specifically? Or grammar, spelling, and handwriting too? And what grades–early Composition or later in the high school grades?

@St_Brendans_Pod Writing is by far the biggest challenge in our house. It’s seems like we have to switch the curriculum each year. I’ve all but settled on IEW for next year though.

When exploring curriculum options for your kids this coming Fall, what kinds of help are you hoping to find? Or, what are the biggest pain points you experience in your school? The kind that, if someone else solved them, would make your teaching/homeschooling job 10x easier (or more successful).

@mrskatie Hi, Mrs. Talbott! Please DM with more feedback. I’d love to hear how I could make our curriculum more valuable. For what it’s worth, there will be some commonality with the Ambleside community in the lower grades, but much less in the upper.

@St_Brendans_Pod Has it changed much from last year? I wasn’t very impressed. It seemed like a redo of Amblesideonline with a few tweaks. I would love it if you actually provided a valuable curriculum. I would buy it.
