Arsenal have things to do at fullback, midfield, up front
For Arsenal it will be a very interesting summer

@cmbftbl Fans are dying for LMS to start in midfield! Yet none of us have seen what he can actually do in that position. Defensively he's weak

🚨JUST IN: Rangers demand a record fee for Emmanuel Fernandez as Arsenal join the race for his signature
Arsenal would need to break the bank to land Rangers’ standout star
Rangers could rake in around £35million from the sale of highly-rated centre-back Emmanuel Fernandez, with interest from several top European clubs — including Arsenal — continuing to grow ahead of the summer transfer window, TEAMtalk understands.
The 24-year-old defender, who joined Rangers from Peterborough United for around £3.5m last summer, is enjoying an excellent campaign at Ibrox.
Premier League sides Arsenal and Chelsea were among the first to register serious interest earlier in the season, with sources suggesting that both London clubs dispatched observers to monitor Fernandez.
Bayern Munich have been made aware of the player’s situation, while Belgian outfit Club Brugge are the latest name linked. Via [@TEAMtalk]
Do you think we need him at Arsenal?

English

@Mrjamieohara1 Sounds like a job for yourself Jamie. Being a Tottenham legend, the fans will get behind you mate.

@Ankamagyimi___ Fuck that. They have to win it for the fans. 22 years without a league trophy is unacceptable

🚨JUST IN: Arsenal are reportedly closing in on their first summer signing, with a deal worth a potential club-record fee, as a world-class star has given the green light to Andrea Berta.
Arsenal are reportedly closing in on the signing of Atlético Madrid striker Julián Álvarez, after sporting director Andrea Berta received a firm yes from the World Cup winner to move to north London this summer, according to strong reports from the Spanish media.
The report claims that the striker ‘already has a new team’ in the form of Arsenal, with Alvarez ‘already close to finalising the terms of his arrival’.
The report adds that Arsenal ‘accelerates and convinces the player’ after ‘the London club offers him both sporting and contractual guarantees, something that isn’t entirely assured at Barca due to the financial constraints that continue to affect their planning’.
Furthermore, it’s claimed that ‘Arsenal have positioned themselves quickly and decisively’ and that ‘their sporting project, already established among Europe’s elite, has been key in convincing Julian Alvarez’.
In addition, it’s said he ‘sees London as an ideal setting to continue his development’, having been sold on having ‘an important role within the team and the opportunity to compete at the highest level in all competitions’. Via [@TEAMtalk] This is a good news to the Gooners ❤️
