I think the point he is making is that race is more of a social construct whereas gender is an absolute. And lately we as a society have focused on the opposites. Instead of focusing on color, maybe we can ask “do I care how the gene pools evolve? Does it matter if predominantly Western European gene pools continue to subside in the greater population?” Why would it matter if white people became even more of a minority? Does that affect quality of life for human beings? Or does culture and the way humans behave and act consciously have the greater overall importance? I think Elon focuses on color a bit too much. “Universal high income.” I’m sorry, but that should absolutely terrify you. It terrifies me. I don’t sleep very well because I can’t turn my brain off. Ideas like this are the reason I take trazodone… or I wouldn’t sleep. Our tech leaders are saying the quiet part out loud now, out in public, like it’s a cute little vision board moment. The future they’re building is one where machines do everything, humans get paid to exist, and we all quietly retire into “comfort” like it’s a retirement plan instead of a slow-motion exit ramp from meaning. Humans need purpose. Not vibes. I don’t care how much abundance or money is involved. I need to provide value. Not “content consumption.” Not a permanent allowance. This feels like slipping society into a warm bath… and handing us the pill bottle. I don’t have the perfect solution. But I do know this, I really don’t love the direction this is heading. This is not good for us.

If working to make money to buy shit you don’t need is your only path to meaning I feel sorry for you. There is so much more to life. Don’t worry your little head about it. You will find all kinds of things to do and all kinds of meaning when you aren’t forced to work in horrible jobs you hate to make fake money designed to enslave you. Right now you are the slave, soon it will be the robots and they will free humanity to go back to actually living. Don’t you worry, there will be all kinds of amazing things to do with your life. This idea of meaning was fabricated to convince people to work their entire lives for literally nothing. The meaning of life is life itself. Existence in and of itself is the meaning.

This is what I don’t understand. We’re told we have a population crisis & need to have all these people who are then not going to have jobs and will have nothing to do?! Humans do not do well without struggle, milestones to achieve and hardships to overcome. What’s the point of life if we’re all just sitting at home watching time pass?

@NoSoloBits They cooked with the graphics more than they needed to. This actually seems like a rather mediocre kart racing game when you analyse the gameplay, but man is that an impressive 3D effect for the Gameboy Colour!
