@WealthCoachMak @propanestinks Does Robinhood operate this way? I’ve noticed that when I sell a cash-secured put, the collateral gets locked up, which reduces my buying power. Since Robinhood uses available cash to generate interest, does this mean I’m not earning interest on that collateral with a CSP?

@propanestinks If you used margin. Or even if not on margin then your cash is NOT getting that interest which you so get on a CSP at most brokerages

Selling Covered Calls are not better than selling Puts They both have the same risk profile Buying 100 shares of $NVDA at $134.5 Then selling a July 3 $140 Call gets you $425 in premium Plus $550 in potential capital gains So a total of $975 in profit Or you can sell a ITM $140 Put for $883 in premium But… If you are doing this on margin You are paying interest on the shares you bought And no interest for more than a month if you sell a put That difference can be bigger than the $975 vs $883 difference depending on the interest rate The risk profile of these trades is the SAME

Last flex im prolly ever posting on Twitter for amazon stuff. I think im done with arbitrage. It’s basically playing Russian roulette with my money at this point. Sure I could do a to a flips but I’d rather move on to easier sources of income.

@JamieHuff So any invoices/receipts past the 365 day threshold would now be invalid per Amazon’s new policy?

With all the Amazon seller account deactivations and sections 3s, how do huge Amazon OA sellers trust Amazon to have hundreds of thousands of their money? A lot of the sellers that lose their accounts seem to have good health, until something very bad happens leading to bans

This new seller central inventory layout is awful and unnecessary Spent the last 24 hours cancelling recurring charges, saved $1000/m. Submitted missing inventory invoices for over $10,000 worth of goods. Let’s see what we get back, first time doing this. #fba #amazonfba

Side project: Growing Tiktok accounts to 5,000 followers for TTShop affiliate for $150. Then sell them to others for $350. It takes 2 days max to run it up. Maintaining decent cash flow on Amazon. Pivoting into other biz models that I can scale without using too much debt. That’s the future I want to double down on 🍀

More and more people are realizing that if they want to build a long term sustainable business that can support themselves and families, they need to get out of OA. Don’t get me wrong it’s great for beginners under the age of 18 who want to get their feet wet in business. But starting or transitioning to Amazon Wholesale and buying from brands and distributors is the only real way to build a business on Amazon. OA comes with so much account health issues it’s not even funny. I have dozens of sellers reach out to me daily scared shitless because they know if amazon pegs them they don’t have supporting docs. Amazon is evolving by the day and if you don’t evolve with it you will get left in the dust
Scott Holmes@HolmsieCooks

Have made the decision to exit AMZ OA in the next few months if conditions remain as they are Feel like it’s time to build a brand - something I have more control over and that is actually sellable Anyone else considering a different route with everything going on?

@Stack_FBA @HolmsieCooks What I don’t understand is why the listings went from 80 to 20. I’ve never had any complaints or issues on Nike and more reviews and a higher rating than most of them. There are a few sellers with only 2-3 reviews. I’m not sure what makes some people allowed to stay on it.

@Stack_FBA @HolmsieCooks Just some Nike socks. The main listing. I can still sell about half of the sock Asins. Way too many socks, not sure what the strategy is here. I’ve read they may open back up in Q4 but hope is not a strategy

@re_fba Any tips where you learned these systems or was this something you developed over time? Starting to get to where I need to track leakage

Receiving in inventory today from a lot of orders I placed on a major retailer site. Their item counts are off on quite literally 50% of them! Sometimes even to my benefit but mostly not in my favor. I’m halfway through receiving these and so far I’ve been shorted by over $250. This is a cumbersome part of OA but an absolutely necessary hole to plug in your business to avoid massive leakage. I have a good system where I mark things a certain color on my buy sheet and have my VA file refund claims. Same goes for items sent to the prep center. Make sure ya’ll got a system for this as you scale!
