This is utterly heartbreaking and a terrible reality for women, but endometriosis is literally estrogen dominance. The condition involves the liver and the pituitary gland, but estrogen is central to the formation of the lesions or abnormal tissue associated with endometriosis. The cells in the endometrial tissue begin producing estrogen through the enzyme aromatase, which is typically found in various tissues under stress. This production of estrogen leads to inflammation and pain due to the activation of the cyclooxygenase enzyme, which converts polyunsaturated fatty acids into prostaglandins. These prostaglandins cause inflammation, pain, and other symptoms of endometriosis. Addressing estrogen dominance is paramount. Hose Kate and all the other ladies suffering from Endo with Progest E immediately!!! (Tweet that I’m pinning below will help.)
Bryan Johnson@bryan_johnson

Examining Kate’s 1% She has suspected endometriosis. This affects at least 1 in 10 women, likely more. Here she’s getting an ultrasound. Historically you needed surgery just to diagnose it (incisions are made in the abdomen). We're doing a non-invasive route. Typically women live with endometriosis for 7-10 years before being diagnosed. It’s the leading reason women aged 30 to 34 get hysterectomies (permanent surgery to entirely remove the uterus). This condition is where endometrial-like tissue starts growing outside the uterus, in ovaries, bowel, bladder, even the diaphragm. This tissue inflames, scars, and glues organs together. Our first step is to find out if @_katetolo has it. Initial measurements we’re doing: + trans vaginal ultrasound + pelvic MRI w and w/o contrast + hormonal labs All during the early part of her cycle to get the clearest picture. During her ultrasound, a slim probe, about the width of two fingers, 10-12 inches long (although only a small portion is inserted) is covered with a protective sheath and lubricant and gently inserted into the vagina (patient has to empty their bladder first). This creates real-time images of the uterus, ovaries, and surrounding pelvic structures. While inserted, the probe is turned 90 degrees to evaluate all the various structures, angles and views. There is no radiation exposure. The technician is looking for scarring, ovarian cysts, adhesions, and for organs that are fused together with tissue. This ultrasound can confirm endometriosis but it cannot rule it out. What endo does to the body: + 90% report pelvic pain + 50% report severe fatigue + 26% report infertility. However many sources cite 30 to 50 percent. + 50% experience pain during sex. + Many have pain with ovulation, bowel movements, and urination + Severe bloating called “endo belly” where the abdomen visibly distends There are a handful of theories about why endometriosis develops but the honest answer is no one is quite sure. We’ll keep you posted on her results.

It’s more about the mothers behavior than it’s about the child’s behavior … when the little boy said I’m gonna make a mess. She should’ve said you’re not gonna make a mess. You’re gonna behave in this party. When he didn’t be behaving the party, she should’ve pulled him out herself talk to him and taught him how to behave in a public setting. And if she had to leave to make a point, that’s what she should’ve done. She passed that little boy off to a nanny.

I just sequenced a human genome to 30× coverage entirely at home. As far as I know, this is the first time this has been done. I didn’t step foot in a lab once. Every step - from saliva collection, to running the sequencer - took place in a single room with a dining table + kitchenette. Six weeks ago, I had never done wet lab biology before. I used an Oxford Nanopore P2 Solo - the only commercially available sequencing device portable enough to do 30x human genome sequencing at home. Biggest takeaway - I could build something that combined software, hardware, and molecular biology far faster than I thought was possible. I can name >100 specific instances where AI helped me solve a technical problem that would previously have blocked me because I lacked access to a domain expert. For example: how do I save my sequencing run when my DNA extraction yield is 4x lower than I need it to be, and I have this limited set of reagents to hand? To make this work, I had to navigate multiple disciplines: - writing software to monitor sequencing runs and orchestrate remote GPU infra for basecalling - learning + executing 5 hour long molecular biology protocols - building a hardware device to quantify DNA concentration Apologies for the hyperbole, but I feel super lucky to be living in 2026. A few weeks ago I decided to sequence a human genome to 30x at home. Then I actually did it. And I did it really quickly.

@colejaczko What is wrong with people nowadays… alcohol is great for you… you could drink water and go outside and talk to your friends 😂 if you need alcohol to make you social, I think that’s something that you should work on sober…

Don’t let anyone convince you alcohol is bad for you I think alcohol is great for me. It’s great for me to be out with friends, making memories, and meeting people You think it comes at an expense of your health but that’s bullshit. I drink all the time & I’ve got a 6-pack, glowing skin, and look/feel great The healthiest thing you can do is live a life that excites you. One that makes you jump out of bed in the morning & go to sleep smiling. If some hangovers are the price to pay for lifelong memories then I’ll take that trade Whether or not you want to drink is a personal decision….but I’ll leave you with a line from @coltybrah that always stuck with me when it comes to “optimization” “What are you optimizing for? It should be to have a good life.” So…what are you optimizing for?
Mikli@CryptoMikli

Steven Bartlett says a few glasses of wine ruined the next 3 days of his life “It's one of those areas where you don't understand the hidden cost until you really give it up for a while. I stopped drinking at 30 years old. I'm now 33. When I was 31, I thought, I'll have a drink again because now I could really A/B test it. I had a year of not drinking, decided to have a drink again” “It ruined three days of my life. I had a couple of glasses of wine, didn't get drunk. It ruined three days of my life because of the domino effect it caused” “I got worse sleep that night, and then because I got worse sleep that night, I ate more poorly the next day because my dopamine system or whatever, the cortisol system was all messed up. I podcasted worse. I didn't go to the gym that day or the day after because I felt really bad. I then slept worse, and I could track all of this on my Whoop”

@ShadowofEzra My conspiracy theory is that China recently crossed some critical Artificial General Intelligence milestone, and the recent acceleration in U.S. data center construction is a desperate attempt to catch up before China dominates the world through AI and robotics.

The CEO of BlackRock, Larry Fink, admits that the trillions of dollars being used to build data centers and power grids will come from ordinary people’s savings accounts and pension funds, and says it is mandatory. He says America needs trillions in AI infrastructure spending, and that people will be forced to “invest” in it. “Much of this will come from savings accounts and pension accounts.”

Bybit has decided to freeze my account and withhold $200k of personal funds for absolutely ZERO reason. Have been using this account for 2+ years with 0 issue - have done 9 figures in volume and had 7 figures liquid in here with no problems. But 3 days ago my account was “banned” for depositing $10,000. It has asked me for “proof of wealth”, “full KYC”, “pay slips” as well as proving ownership of the deposit wallet. My account and KYC has already been verified to the level required for 400k+ in daily deposit limits, as well as the trading volume I already do. I can no longer trade and withdraw my OWN funds with an account i already had full KYC for. @Bybit_Official @benbybit
