If it wasn’t for Bitcoin, what would people even be buying? I genuinely don’t understand it. Maybe I’m being selfish, but I can’t picture myself just buying and holding something for 30 years to make 10% a year and hopefully be “rich” at 60.

Tough call. IPOs back in the day use to be priced cheaper vs. what they are now because they’d raise less. With the valuation that SpaceX is targeting, I feel like there won’t be as much room to run. With all that said, it’s 2026 and the markets are wild so anything can happen.

They say don’t buy an IPO for at least 6 months SpaceX is expected to be the largest initial public offering (IPO) in stock market history, aiming to raise $75 to $80 billion. If successful, it will easily surpass the $29.4 billion raised by Saudi Aramco in 2020 Are you still going to buy ?

@KobeissiLetter The biggest red flag isn’t factories slowing, it’s consumers pulling back hard (cars, jewelry, retail) That usually means confidence is breaking Looks more like a long slow Japan-style stagnation than a dramatic crash.

China's economy is losing momentum: Fixed-asset investment in China fell -1.6% YoY in the first 4 months of 2026, slipping back into contraction territory. The decline was driven by a -13.7% year-to-date drop in property development, building on an -11.2% decline in the first 3 months of 2026. Furthermore, industrial production rose just +4.1% YoY in April, the weakest reading since mid-2023. At the same time, retail sales grew just +0.2% YoY, the worst reading since China's economy reopened after the pandemic in December 2022. This comes as car sales dropped -15% YoY, the steepest decline since mid-2022. Meanwhile, gold, silver, and jewelry sales collapsed -21% YoY, reversing sharply from the buying frenzy seen earlier this year when surging precious metal prices drove speculative demand. China's economic slowdown is broadening.

@KobeissiLetter If inflation keeps rising, it’s bad for prices and borrowing costs, but usually good long term for hard assets like Bitcoin and gold. One or two hot months still doesn’t guarantee a full inflation comeback yet.

BREAKING: US CPI inflation is on track to exceed +5.0% as early as this year. Over the last 6 months, CPI inflation has averaged +0.4% on a MoM basis, with March and April readings as high as +0.9% and +0.6%, respectively. If this trend continues, this puts YoY inflation on pace to surge to +5.2% by the November midterms. That would be the highest level since February 2023 and more than double the February 2026 print. Even if monthly inflation prints ease to +0.3%, the YoY inflation rate would still rise to +4.4%, the highest since April 2023. Inflation is back in full swing.

@BitcoinMagazine Bullish for Bitcoin long term. It means banks are taking crypto more seriously and regular people may trust it more because banks can hold it safely now.
