i’ve recently gone through my old lego and fallen back in love with it, but i just cannot engage with what they’re making now. original Lego IP (bar ninjago) simply does not exist anymore. all there is now is stupid expensive licensed stuff and expensive model sets

dont wanna sound like a retvrn asshole but it is genuienly sad how something bionicle just could not be made today. lego are playing it so safe and because of that have essentially raised the financial bar needed to enjoy this hobby
