I just finished watching the entire interview of Elon Musk & Don Lemon and I really tried to go in it with an objective point of view, but it really was one of the worst interviews I’ve ever seen done and I think it was a waste of Elon’s time. The entire interview, it genuinely seemed Don was trying his hardest to corner Elon on every question & statement and Elon answered it all very well & in detail, but it just for some reason would not register with Don. It’s no wonder his show got cancelled with 𝕏. This is the moment I believe Elon had enough of it.

I do not agree with tying the immigration bill to Ukraine funding. Congress should all have to vote on both issues. With that said, even if the bill wasn’t tied to Ukraine funding, we know that Republicans still wouldn’t support it because all they care about is making Biden look bad. Democrats should separate the bills and then try and pass them again. Get Republicans on record turning down border aid that’s tied to nothing else. If we want solutions we have to stop holding bills hostage. Both sides are guilty to some degree.

@ewarren Social Security is an earned benefit. You shouldn’t have to pay more than you will receive. Stop blaming rich people for inability to get spending under control.

The payroll tax that funds Social Security does not apply to income above $160,000. So Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk, the richest men on Earth, contribute just as much as your neighborhood dentist. I’m fighting to expand Social Security by getting the wealthy to pay their fair share.

Congressman @JaredEMoskowitz says it best in the video below. Yes, we have issues at the border. No, these issues aren’t new to the Biden Administration. Yes, more people are attempting to come across the border now than under previous administrations, but the borders aren't more "open" now, except for Biden ending the harsh "remain in Mexico policy" and COVID restrictions expiring. The problem is that Republicans don’t want to fix the problem. Their goal isn’t to try and solve the issue now. Their goal is to use the issue to make Biden and Democrats look bad. They want to use the border to get Trump elected and then try and fix the problem when Trump is in office. The problem is, they didn’t fix the problem last time Trump was in office, even when they had both chambers of Congress.

My wife and I left graduate school 23 years ago with a combined total of $70,000 debt. Since then we've made $500 monthly payments for 23 years ($120,000+). Today, we still owe $60,000. Explain to me again why student loan debt shouldn't be cancelled.
