White guy punched square in the face and glasses knocked off by a black juvenile just for stepping up to prevent him and his thug crew from harassing a random woman on the sidewalk.
Stereotypes are not given, they are earned.

شيكاغو ام وابنتها عادوا من التمرين ووقفوا سيارتهم في موقف منزلهم لم يدركوا أن هناك من يترصد لهم
وفور نزول الأم هاجمها اثنين من اللصوص وإسقاطها أرضاً وسرقوا منها مفتاح سيارة العائلة ومفتاح سيارتها الخاصة وبطاقاتها البنكية وفروا من المكان

Asking for more grace for the person who shouted a racist slur instead of for Michael B. Jordan and Delroy Lindo, who had to push through being embarrassed in front of their peers.
But that’s often the expectation — that Black people are just supposed to be ok with being disrespected and dehumanized so that other people don’t feel bad.

I don’t know how I knew, but it was an intuition building over the past few months. The loss of good people is because they were not nurtured, not supported, not built up. So lets keep POS DEI people who’s toxicity is a stench that nobody wants to be around.

And the evening gets even more awkward with unsolicited text from a niece being noisy. Her judgy accusations and finger pointing hurt deep, but she has no clue to anything and past histories so I’m not going to throw it back in equal anger and measure.
I think I’ve done well.
