#UPDATE | We received a report of a suspicious male on Bristol Street, Salford, at around 11:52am today. Officers established that the individual was wearing a weighted gym vest and carrying a skipping rope at an outdoor gym. There is no threat to the wider community.

@Jamesmolesruns @StaggerUnwinds to be fair, they don't go down as a 5k. You can't set an official 5k PB in a parkrun, whether it's accurately measured or not. The bigger issues would be mixed messages about what parkrun is, and timing inaccuracies. No chip times, no qualified timing officials.

@StaggerUnwinds I am a raging TERF myself 😆 but would support keeping parkrun off PO10 to be consistent with messaging that parkrun isn’t competitive. That’s way parkrun isn’t hypocritical…..
I’m more concerned with the ‘cult’ mentality of some park runners, strange bunch 😂

ALERT: 73-year-old British rapper passes out mid-performance while suspended in midair.
Pete Bowditch, from the rap group Pete & Bas, was performing in Chicago, Illinois, when he lost consciousness in the middle of a concert.
It is suspected that the harness cut off circulation, which caused him to pass out.
The group's management company stated, “We would like to apologize for last night’s show; the good news is Pete is now in a stable condition.”
They refunded everyone at the show and plan to continue their European tour as scheduled.

X has been a blast lately.
I posted a pic of my haircut and was overrun by sleazes and bots. Today, I’ve been called transgender (I’m not), a retard (I’m not) and told that my husband is cheating on me with someone called Lauren (in a street that doesn’t exist).
Oh and a persistent pest called “Paul” keeps calling me Brander.
