Comp update: Kirk Cousins will sign a five-year, $172 million deal with the Raiders that in reality is a one-year, fully-guaranteed $20 million deal that also contains a club option for two years at $80M.
The Falcons will pay Cousins $8.7 million this season, the Raiders another $1.3 million and Las Vegas also agreed to pay its new QB a fully-guaranteed $10 million roster bonus on the third day of the 2027 new league year.
And maybe most notably, it also sets another new mark: this will be the 11th straight NFL season in which Cousins’ contract will be fully guaranteed.

Spoke with a couple from Columbus, OH.
They paid $280k for a home in 2020 & that home is now $475,000.
They got a 30 year, 3.75% mortgage.
They now have 2 kids, need more space but a new home doubles their housing costs.
...They're trapped & millions are in this situation.

UConn coach Dan Hurley has been fined $25,000 by the Big East for unsportsmanlike conduct today at Marquette. “Initial speculation on the game broadcast indicated possible contact between Hurley and the official; however, a review by the conference office of the officials' game report and available game footage could not confirm physical contact.”

Even though I do not think a Giannis trade to anyone but Knicks or Wolves (among the known suitors) actually wins the title (midseason trades are tough to acclimate), Milwaukee needs to move him before the deadline.
I'm all in favor of taking care of your franchise, but you're also trying to do right by him, and you should not waste a postseason when he's only got 4-5 great ones left.
