@MihailoBjelic @sunnya97 ...add to that a few thousand dollars lost by pools (mostly BTCGuild) in mining revenues, ~6 hours of uncertainity, and a flash crash in price (with subsequent flash recovery). That’s pretty much it. (2)

@MihailoBjelic @sunnya97 There was quite a lot of discussion and analysis during and after the fork, so these are established facts. During the 24 block fork nobody lost their BTC. And there was only one very minor (~$10k) double spend against a payment processor... (1)

I think "Bitcoiners" would have eventually come around on Ethereum if it wasn't for the DAOfork.

@MihailoBjelic @sunnya97 ...But in the case of the 2013 hard fork the vast majority of the hashpower and the devs simply coordinated seamlessly to quickly and successfully fix an accidental fork, with no loss of btc from users. There were no collateral damages, apart from a price flash crash. (2)
