Thanks to our @NASAArtemis II astronauts for working on the weekend! The fourth day of their mission brought more crew preparations for Monday's trip around the Moon and stunning new images from their vantage point. What views are you most excited to see?

The moment they’ve been waiting for. Scientists in the Science Evaluation Room are preparing for the Artemis II crew to become the first humans to fly around the Moon in over 50 years. These team members conduct rapid data interpretation, collaborative analysis, real-time decision making, and seamless coordination with the operations teams. Good morning, world! 🌎 We have spectacular new high-resolution images of our home planet, all of us looking back through the Orion capsule window at our Artemis II astronauts as they continue their journey to the Moon.

I'm really excited to have this project formally underway, and to be able to share a little more detail about it. We'll release more information on the two flight demos as we get closer to flight time, but just being able to share a little more details than before is great.

The moment you realise your engines and thrusters worked exactly as they should. "We know every bit of the European Service Module, down to the last sensor. Our mission is to safely bring four astronauts to the Moon and back to their families on Earth,” says Michael Flach, orbital propulsion subsystem architect at @AirbusSpace.

Artemis II astronauts are doing great. The Orion spacecraft is performing well in an impressive elliptical orbit, and the @NASA_Johnson Mission Control team is taking good care of the crew. Meanwhile, back at @NASAKennedy, the teams are out at the pad getting ready for what comes next. We are going to get into a rhythm of launching Moon rockets around here 🇺🇸

The fifth launch of the United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V 551 rocket carrying the next batch of production satellites for Amazon Leo, Leo 5, is now planned for Saturday, April 4.
