I started Crypto in 2016, stayed through all cycles so far, and remain active.
Here’s my story of lessons learned and survival in the space.
Traded my first BTC on LocalBitcoins (P2P) in 2016, driven by belief and excitement, like free money.
ZARFund profits led to XRP purchase in 2017 at $0.0078 via Poloniex. Also used @LunoGlobal for trading, card and bank transfer purchases, despite high fees.
I slowed down after the ZARFund crash through 2019–2020, but by 2021, I was fully back again. The BSC meme season pulled me back in.
I recall doing P2P with @OdiCrypt in 2020 via Abit Trader during the Tatacoin days, one of the first African-led P2P crypto projects then . It didn’t all moon but I saw the movement growing, learned and engaged.
Knew about Cardano through a senior in Cyprus back 2021.
I began minting NFTs on CNFT.io and diving into the tech.
I remember reading @nmkr_io whitepapers, @Padierfind inspired me and I connected with the Cult Cardano Community. Now, 75% of my holdings are $ADA, making me a Cardano maxi.
Now I’m fully in Web3.
I trade, farm testnets, join presales, Yap, interact with real DeFi tools, and teach others in my small group.
I have built skills, taken Ls, helped others and I’m still evolving in the space.
