@Beanie0597 We just spent two PD's determining every faculty member's favorite song. Now we are having common assessments being shoved down our throats that must be completed before school ends...great use of time!

@JamesAFurey On a related note, our system is requiring common assessments for all students regardless of the course level. I see a watered-down assessment that fails to accurately assess honors level courses while perhaps being too difficult for resource level students. Seems ridiculous!!

Every teacher I know rolls their eyes at the concept of "differentiation," yet every administrator I've met pretends like it's the solution to classes with widely varying levels of ability. It's not a solution, it's a smokescreen used to justify large class sizes.

What is your favorite hole at ANGC and why?

@zdrelay As an educator, I don't think anyone not in schools could possibly understand how the culture of education was impacted by COVID. Are there other factors? Sure. But, in my opinion, that 18 month stretch created a sense of entitlement and apathy for learning that still exists.

How long are teachers going to blame issues on COVID? It was one year for Christ's sake. How does that relate to 16 year old fighting and seniors who can't read? These things have ZERO to do with COVID.
