@SicklyTheNinJa Surely I wasn’t the only person who immediately clocked that he was a Templar from the fact that no-one was saying ‘Templar’ or ‘Assassin’ for the entire 3 Sequences?

I was playing through the Haytham Kenway sequence in Assassin's Creed III and noticed a pretty obvious hint that he was a Templar. Some people might have missed this and it's quite interesting.
His cape has two symbols on it you might recognize. One being that of the Freemasons (no direct evidence that the two orders worked together from my knowledge but it's fascinating nonetheless) and the more glaring one, the Templar Cross, just sitting there staring you in the face.
It's funny that Desmond never noticed this until the end of the Haytham story when the word "Templar" had to be said aloud 😂

@MattZeitlin What honour is there in such a poorly designed game? Normal mode way too easy, hard mode just randomly punishes accurate guesses early on (an actual harder mode would be 7/8 letter words or something). You want to be leaving that shit behind and getting on Connections

@VexNihilo @DoomerCoomer The problem is the game establishes saving this community as the primary motivation early on, and it’s very difficult to then flick a switch and divert the attention fully onto this character dynamic, when much of your audience is emotionally invested in the ‘saving Lumiere’ part

@DoomerCoomer I feel like whether the paintings are sentient (they are) is not actually that relevant to the final decision, but a lot of people insist on *making* it central, because it turns a potentially interesting and complicated thematic decision into a comically easy trolley problem

literally nothing in the text of Clair Obscur supports that the paintings aren't sentient beings with souls, none of the characters dispute it, yet for some reason it's a conclusion that so many people come to because they're incapable of engaging with a fantasy world's rules

We should allocate a city. Probably Brighton or Bristol as they tend to like this stuff, impose these new plans now and watch them like an experiment in a fume cupboard to see how they get on.
