@PomidorDark @Staralus @RakinMinhaz @gunga_utdr If he truly cared about the vision and intention of his work, he would make it more accessible, as I said, by hiring an English/Spanish translation team and giving them the appropriate guidelines. He's not going to study all the languages for a simple translation.

There's a whole 271 page long book about how Undertale was translated into japanese and how meticulous that process was and what sacrifices were made in said process And you really expect that perfectionist guy to want to translate the game into the language he doesn't know

Toby Fox should remove the english and japanese languages and only have the game dialogue be in wingdings symbols that dont mean anything when deciphered

He would have to trust the translators and give up control without being able to verify fully. At that point you should just use fan translations.

@Coffy_Cat @gunga_utdr That's the important distinction. It's okay to be frustrated or sad that there isn't a translation, but it's not okay to get angry at Toby and blame him for everything. I'm italian and I know that we will never get even a fraction of a chance to get an official translation.

How can you know if a word is not fitting if you don't know the language? He's a perfectionist, he needs to study and know for himself
