The proposal put forward by the @LayerZero_fndn to acquire Stargate (STG) has officially passed. The proposal saw strong participation, more than 15,000 voters, voting with over 7.5M veSTG. The discussion remained active throughout, with a wide range of community voices contributing. __________ This proposal signifies a major milestone for Stargate. Full communications can be expected from the Stargate Foundation on Monday. For now, a clear message: Stargate remains fully operational as the trusted interface for transfer value. LayerZero have proposed to acquire Stargate (STG). A final proposal is now live on Stargate's Snapshot. Voting to start precisely at August 17th, 00:24 GMT. ______________ Key implications of this proposal: Acquisition terms: All circulating STG (including staked/voting STG) will be eligible to be swapped for ZRO at a fixed ratio of 1 STG : 0.08634 ZRO. If your STG is staked and locked, it will be unlocked. Revenue sharing: veSTG holders (snapshot at initial proposal) to receive 50% of Stargate top-line revenue for 6 months. The other 50% will be used for ZRO buybacks. After 6 months, all revenue will support ZRO buybacks. Governance: Stargate DAO will dissolve. Stargate operations will transition to the LayerZero Foundation. Voting period: Extended to 7 days, ending on August 24th at 00:15 am GMT. Quorum is 1.2M veSTG, with a 70% approval threshold required. If approved, Stargate will continue uninterrupted for users, while gaining deeper integration with LayerZero and the resources to accelerate Stargate further. ______________ Check below for the proposal links.

A new Proposal is live on Snapshot. Proposal: Migrate Stargate Protocol Contracts to OneSig, LayerZero’s open-source multi-chain execution framework. This upgrade cuts operational overhead with protocol management and enhances security by enabling secure, single-signature execution of transactions across any number of chains. This will not impact treasury funds, that will remain in Gnosis Safe for the time being. Voting has started and will end on August 12, 4:32am GMT.

The Stargate Foundation has proposed allocating up to $20M from the DAO treasury to fund an intents-based system to power faster transfers and enable swaps across it's global liquidity layer. Proposal is now live for voting: snapshot.box/#/s:stgdao.eth… Voting closes July 31 at 4:55 PM GMT.

The 12 proposals up for ratification are now live on Snapshot. Voting closes July 29 at 6:04 PM GMT.

New Stargate DAO Proposal is live @0xPredicate is proposed as a required DVN for all transfers between Ethereum and @PlumeNetwork, upgrading the route to a 3-of-3 DVN set with real-time compliance enforcement for RWA flows. Voting ends July 28th, 7:12pm GMT.

Stargate Foundation is proposing to allocate up to $20M of the Stargate DAO's treasury as capital for an intents-based system. A Stargate funded solver could offer deep liquidity, better spreads, and faster execution, while leveraging use of Stargate's unified liquidity layer to enhance solver profitability, with earnings accrued back to the DAO. ETH and USDC Pools are coming to Sophon via Stargate. Following the successful governance proposal, the Stargate Foundation will deploy native ETH and USDC pools on Sophon within the next 30 days. In accordance with the Governance Mandate, $1m in liquidity will be seeded, split evenly between USDC and ETH to establish native asset pathways on Stargate. In return, the DAO will earn $50,000 reflecting a 5% APY on the deployed capital. To view the proposal visit the Stargate Snapshot (URL in the bio).

Proposal Now Live: Add ETH + USDC Pools to Sophon If approved, Stargate DAO would deploy $1m in liquidity to support native liquidity pathways on @Sophon, the blockchain focused on bringing crypto to consumers. Voting opens today at 4pm GMT and will stay open for three days.
