@hollywoodscifi @horrormuseum The team behind it did little research and effort into creating a show that people would want to see then advertising it to drumb up interest. That’s just how entertainment works unfortunately.
It never got enough support it needed to survive.

it's being reported that Crunchyroll had a data breach
• The breach happened on March 12th, 2026 & the threat actor was able to pull 100gb of personal identifiable data (IP addresses, email addresses, credit card details, and more.)
Crunchyroll hasn't publicly disclosed the breach so i'd suggest you guys reset your passwords & watch your bank accounts now if you haven't

@Variety It's unfortunately, but this is what happens when the market teams and people who create/run the show fail at giving us reasons to want to see their product. Just because they make it, doesn't mean we have to watch it.They're not entitled to our time / $. That's just how life is.

🚨‼️ BREAKING: Crunchyroll breached through outsourcing partner in India. A threat actor exfiltrated data from Crunchyroll's ticketing system and also managed to pull 100 GB of personally identifiable customer analytics data. We've analyzed sample data and it includes IP addresses, email addresses, credit card details, and more. An employee of their outsourcing partner Telus had executed malware on his system, which gave a threat actor access to Crunchyroll's environment.
